Religious Education

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6).

The Orthodox Christian faith initiates new members into the Body of Christ (the Church) from infancy through adulthood.  Our religious education system, commonly referred to as "Sunday School," provides children with an education in the faith and the ability to communicate and defend their faith.  Classes start as early as age 2 and our program runs through high school.  Classes are held immediately following the distribution of Holy Communion and last until approximately 11:45 a.m. on Sundays from September through May.

Adult education classes are offered on a seasonal basis and an Introduction to Orthodox Christianity is offered in October through November.

If you are interested in registering your child for Sunday School or would like to register for an adult education class yourself, please contact the church office: 330-434-0000
